Artspace Covid – 19 Safety Protocols

In the interest of community safety, we have put in place the following guidelines and procedures:

  • We ask that before visiting the gallery that all visitors self assess. Please stay home if you are not feeling well
  • Visitors will enter through Artspace’s main entrance and depart through our side entrance unless you require access to the ramp. If that is the case, please inform staff and we will ensure a safe unobstructed exit through the main entrance
  • All visitors will be required to sign in with their name and phone number for the purposes of contact tracing
  • All visitors and staff must wear a face-covering unless a health issue prevents you from doing so. Disposable masks will be available
  • Hand sanitizer will be available at the front and back doors of the gallery
  • Strict social distancing protocols will be in place—all visitors must maintain a distance of 2 metres from staff and other visitors. Members of the same household may stay together
  • We will be limiting our capacity to 12 visitors at a time
  • Visitors entering the space for programming where refreshments will be served or physical activity will take place (eg Yoga in the Gallery) must provide proof of vaccination at point of entry
  • Washrooms will not be available to the public at this time
  • The centre’s Resource Library and Media Lab are currently closed to the public.

These requirements are as of September 8th, 2021 and will be periodically updated as needed and taking in to consideration public health policy
