Overlay of the Land | Aylan Couchie

From Sept. 15 to Oct. 19, 2019, visit one of two Magical Gumball Machines of Fate, which dispense artist multiples for $2 a pop. Stickers designed by artist Aylan Couchie call audiences to action and combat the colonial erasure of Indigenous rights and presence.

Gitigaazh 2019: Soundings and Corn Roast | Jenn Cole & Ron Benner | Oct. 3, 5:30-7:30pm

On Oct. 3, join us at 5:30 pm for an immersive installation that offers audiences a new way of understanding plants and their presence in the land through sound, performance, and storytelling. Performance followed by a community corn roast. Project organized by William Kingfisher.

Assessing the garden: The garden can be accessed via the Lift Lock Visitor Centre Parking Lot or via the trail that runs parallel to the canal, beginning at Armour Rd. The ground leading from the Visitor Centre parking lot to the garden is a sloped lawn (see below).
